Knot Another Choir

A community choir of about 100 members, singing music from the 60's through to the present day
Activity

A community choir of over 100 members, with ages ranging from twenties to retired. KAC sing music from the 60's through to present day and are often seen singing at community events and fundraisers. You do not need to be able to read music. They perform several concerts a year but there won’t be any pressure to take part until you feel confident with the repertoire.

Knot Another Choir are interested in your potential and the rehearsals are designed to develop singers musically and vocally. Members range from people who haven’t sung since school days through to music graduates and those who’ve sung in choirs all their lives.

The rehearsals are engaging and fast-paced, with lots of emphasis on creating an excellent sound and bringing the music to life. Their acclaimed and expert musical team are young, exciting, inspiring and great fun – it’s definitely not just note-bashing! Members absolutely love and live for their Thursday evenings.

£20 per month, but free for anyone aged between 18 and 25. There are two free taster sessions at the start of the Spring and Autumn terms - please email to book your place. No auditions. Knot Another Choir try to ensure that their choir rehearsals are held in venues that have disabled access and facilities on site.
Thursdays 7:30pm, NYCC term time only @ Trinity Church Hall, Gracious Street (off Briggate), Knaresborough HG5 8BQ
