A festival to celebrate the return of some of the land to the people. This date has been designated 'Knaresborough Forest Day' by Knaresborough Town Council, and will be celebrated every year, usually as part of FEVA.

Family-friendly and nature-themed activities, music, poetry, arts and crafts.
Activities include:
Nature quiz
Basket weaving demonstration
Green woodworking
Flower and leaf art
Soft archery
Nature meditation
NB This is a free event but there may be a small charge for some optional activities, and some items for sale.
Bring a picnic and a rug!

There is no parking on the field or on Bilton Hall Drive, which is a private road. Access is by bus, by bike or on foot from Bilton Hall Drive or the Beryl Burton cycleway.

GETTING HERE
Knaresborough Forest Park sits between the Beryl Burton Cycleway (north) and the A59 Knaresborough Road (south). It’s accessible by foot or bike.
No on-site parking - nearest is at Conyngham Hall, a short walk away
Bus routes: 1A, 1B, 1C - alight at Stevenson Place
We encourage sustainable travel wherever possible.

The land is in early development, with no facilities currently available (no toilets or cafe).
Terrain is grassy and uneven - wear sturdy footwear
Please stick to marked paths to protect habitats
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times - this is a shared space with wildlife
